Fun with scales has gone to a new level! This necklace is made completely of anodized aluminum scales and jump rings. The scales are in a rainbow pattern of red, orange, green, blue and purple. They are all individually connected so they hang separately and have a sense of flow to them. Because these are anodized aluminum they are very bright colored and will not fade. This also means that the necklace is super lightweight and completely hypoallergenic. You won't even know you're wearing it! Well, except for the level of color it presents.

The back of the necklace is a continuance of aluminum jump rings so they are water proof, won't tarnish or color off and are completely hypo-allergenic. The clasp is a lobster claw made by Swarovski and is also waterproof and hypo-allergenic.

The necklace currently measures 17 1/2 inches (44.5 cm) but it can easily be lengthened. The section that actually contains the scales measures 10 1/2 inches so it is more than half the length of the entire necklace.
